UX/UI DESIGN

UX/UI is a key factor in an end-user’s interaction with a product. Omertex has a systematic user-centred approach and deploys high-level technologies to offer UX/UI services which ensure the seamless adoption of your websites and mobile applications by large groups of users.

How We Work

Elaboration
Step 1
Elaboration

The elaboration stage in UI/UX is relatively similar to the elaboration stage in software or mobile development with one important difference – the UX specialist focuses on the end-user's interaction with the product. This stage is intended for studying every aspect of a website or application and gathering detailed information about possible user workflows which are necessary for the prototyping phase. The expected deliverables of this stage are static sketches and/or mock-ups which allow to the quick exploration of ideas about the future product.

Prototyping
Step 2
Prototyping

At Omertex we are using prototyping as a quick and inexpensive way to explore multiple variations of designs and to test their quality and performance. Within this stage our UX team creates prototypes that show how the application actually works. The prototype is not the final application, but a simulation which is used to test the usability and feasibility of the design. This is a good approach that makes sure that your ideas and application structure are correct and that you can continue the actual development based on the feedback.

Designing UI
Step 3
Designing UI

Once the prototypes are complete and have been approved by the customer we focus on preparing the UI design. Our UI designer studies the client's expectations, existing brand-books and human interface guidelines before proposing multiple variants of the final designs, taking into account such requirements as target devices (desktop, smartphones and/or tablets) as well as their resolution and orientation capabilities. The expected deliverables of this phase are UI sources in formats such as Photoshop.

Finalisation
Step 4
Finalisation

The final stage is intended for making the last minor changes which can appear during development or the release phase. Usually some activities are still required of the UI/UX specialists, such as preparing sketches/mock-ups for new features, rendering a few small icons or fixing some screen sections for new target devices
