The main purpose of this solution is centralized management of modernization process for existing shop.
The system was developed for the company with hundreds of retail stores selling a wide range of goods. From time to time stores have to be upgraded to meet the high standards of the customer. The modernization process should be conducted within established time limits and according to the plan. The web-portal, developed according to the requirements of the customer, allows manage such processes and control every step of the repair / re-equipment.
The main units of information on the page are the shop and the project. The project is a separate site in the site collection. Only a limit circle of people, related to the modernization of a particular store, has access to such web-site. Each project goes through several stages:
- Preliminary meeting
- Stage of signing a contract
- Stage of modernization
- Putting of a store in production
The project provides all the information about the progress of modernization: spent human resources, starting and ending dates, status, state of progress, and the type of repair / re-equipment. All reference data, information about shops and information necessary for the analysis are presented on the main website. SharePoint lists provide a user-friendly interface for viewing, creating and editing of the elements. Also display data was created in the form of different graphs for comfortable viewing and carrying presentation. This was made by using Fusion Charts component.
After the beginning of industrial operation the project was refined several times and was supplemented by new functionality.
The customer using our product has significantly reduced the cost of management and maintenance processes for updating its retail network. Positive reviews on the web-portal show that the product has a high quality.
